Knickerbocker is a factory born brand, created in 2012 at the heels of what was left of a 60 year old manufacturing company by the name of Watman Headwear Corp. With the acquisition of their factory, they picked up and journeyed down a new path.
I worked with Knickerbocker’s CEO Andrew Livingstong to design
a pre-sale platform called The Cutting Room. I
was the sole developer and helped engineer the unique UX.
For a specified window of time, customers
pre-order goods in advance at discount prices, allowing
Knickerbocker to gauge demand and fund their production
runs without a bank loan.
